Proud Aquariums started in mid 2024 by Isaac Sullivan. After exploring the world of aquariums and fishkeeping, he found various things in this world, including expensive cleaning services, people physically unable to maintain their tanks and misinformation.

Proud Aquarium's goal and Isaac's goal are to bring everyone together and create an environment for hobbyists to feel cared for and welcomed.

We strive to provide the best information possible for your situation and provide fair and transparent pricing.

Isaac specialises exclusively in freshwater tanks, with a focus on cichlids and aggression management in community tanks. He has cohabited flowerhorns with other cichlid species and helped clients set up community tanks for long-term success.

Isaac is neurodivergent and brings that lived experience directly into how Proud Aquariums operates. He understands first-hand the barriers that can make tank upkeep difficult, and has built the business to make sure that support is never out of reach. Having also worked in the NDIS sector, Isaac understands that in some cases communication and booking can be challenging on the best of days.
